I had melasma/hyperpigmentation really bad on both cheeks and on upper chest. Looked horrible but I was so sick that it just wasn't a priority. Lo and behold it is All Gone now thanks to Iodine and iodide:) I have no doubt that melasma is from thryoid disfunction and iodine/iodide is needed.
