Ricky - Apparently it's nearly impossible, physiologically speaking for a body to become acidic. It's usually due to "lack" of stomach acid that gives burning feeling. Food just sits in gut fermenting which is the acidic feeling one gets. Maybe try lining stomach by taking slipper elm, yucca root and try some prebitoics like rice bran. If there is pain in the gut it's usually due to inflammation from food fermenting. Enough stomach acid also helps kill bacteria etc which can also cause inflammation in the bowel. And get that acid going so you can digest meats etc. It's weird I know but when you are feeling acidic it's usually due to lack of acid. Found this hard to get my mind around it but the theory has being working for me. Read up on it, if you like, just to make sure. Good luck!
