According to newport the Morton pickling salt is pure salt without any additives like anti-caking agent. Yes it looks the same as the regular stuff but that is what he recommends for the IMAM and is what I use. Also to keep the unused portion from caking after it is opened try storing it in the refrigerator for a zero humidity environment
