Anthelmintic therapy is the only thing that works. Use safeguard Fenbendazole 10% equine paste dewormer from A feed store such as Tractor Supply. Also use the Equimax and pamoate pyrantel paste dewormers. 2 turns on the limiter dial, a tube should be one weeks worth. Be patient as you will improve with each treatment but it takes many to rids the insides of a massive infestation of many species of insect, fungi and algae.
Aim toothpaste on the lesions and let it dry up. never touch a dry or wet lesion, unless one is in the shower. If allowed to dry up the scabs will fall off and new skin will grow. No picking! Tinactin or premier antifungal spray from any store. Wash clothes in borax and Pinesol disinfectant cleaner along with regular detergent. Double the dryer time.
