I found this recipe on Morley Robbins FB page. I decided to give it a try as a nice summer pick-up. Since my Na/K levels have been stubbornly low I decided to give it a try.

Let me tell you it worked great! I was very busy gardening today and it was crazy hot out. It was an all around busy day. So I made the cocktail. I used sweet grapefruits as the oranges looked pretty tired. It gave me such an incredible lift. I am definately adding this in.

I suppose this would only be TEI kosher as many of us are taking potassium anyway. So here is the recipe and please let me know how you felt with it and what your Na/K levels are.

8 oz of freshly squeezed orange juice
1/4 tspn of cream of tartar
1/4 tspn Sea Salt

Mix and take in two 4oz doses throughout the day.

P.S- My hubby who was working hard with me felt no difference at all after drinking the cocktail. His Na/k levels are quite high. Plus inverted.

When I was in Mexico I would add Sea Salt to my freshly squeezed orange juice and drank it throughout the day. I was hooked on it. Now I know about the cream of tartar for the potassium.
