The percentage of people in the history of the human race that eat to the standards that you are promoting is minuscule.

You seem to be making the mistake a lot of people make in that the straw that broke the camel's back is what you think is the sole source of the problem. I can tell you with full confidence that the stress accumulated by under eating is just a drop in the bucket.
