My immediate advice, not knowing your diagnoses and treatment history, would be to eliminate potential factors exacerbating your condition, such as ongoing trauma, allergens, caustic food agents, and microbial overgrowth. I've spent considerable time in the sun recently and have felt my condition worsen, though other factors are likely involved. Try to stay positive, proactive, and try to pursue a treatment for enough time (several cycles at minimum) to accurately judge it's efficacy.

I used GNC aloe vera gel from capsules for over 5 months with negligible improvement. However my girlfriend has suggested I try aloe from the plant itself, inner clear part which is less likely to oxidize and stain the lips yellow.
