I got Tapeworm from raw fish years ago and I lost so much weight from it. I would eat a ton of food but never gain weight. I found out I had tape worm because I pooped out a section of it and it was still alive moving in the toilet. I was so freaked out I couldn't sleep that night. Next day got a parasite cleanse at the health food store and within 2 days I was pooping out dead Tapeworm lengths for another few days. But I was still scared of surviving eggs so I went to doctor and they gave me something that totally wiped out my gut and good flora so I made that mistake and had horrible reactions to the med. I then proceeded to take copious amounts of probiotics and eat well. Took months to feel better but will never touch raw fish again. Ever!
