I’ve been meaning to post this for a while now: this is a picture of my lips. I’ve been dealing with this for almost a year now. This is how my lips look every single day since last September, when I took a dose of Bactrim Forte Antibiotics .
My Exfoliative Cheilitis is different from yours, I know it. My lips do not peel, do not get crusty or white when in contact with water. They just burn, hurt and are painful as hell. Half of my lip skin is always red and raw, as you can see. My top lip has some Fordyce spots too.
For months I thought that this could be caused by some Candida or by some Yeast Infection. Now I don’t anymore. I, now, think that this can be an allergy.
I am asking you guys opinion. What do you guys think can be its cause? Does this look like an allergy? Maybe a food allergy ?
Any and every opinion would be much appreciated… thanks a lot guys : )
