Has anyone on these forums had experience with supplementing children with Lugol's or the like?

My son, aged 6, has a very weak immune system, easily gets flu's and colds, is always "bunged up" and has sinus infections, has dark circles around the eyes and history of eczema. Was diagnosed with mild asthma a few years ago, but his lungs are strong and he definately does NOT have asthma. He's been off dairy for the past 2 years, which has helped. I run an air purifier in his room at night, with ozone and triple filter, etc. We apply chickweed ointment for his skin issues - this helps but is topical and won't sort the underlying problem.
I am thinking of trying of giving him Lugols but need some tips or basic guidelines. Anyone?

I also have an elder son (age 8 who is possibly ADD. Zero concentration at school and not interested in any mental activity. Again, maybe Iodine and magnesium deficient?

My youngest (daughter, aged 3months) already has issues with eczema. Again we are a little concerned, considering our previous childrens' issues. :(

I am looking for any guidance or tips. Any info much appreciated.
