I have done a 14 day Water Fast before, as well as a 21 day Water Fast a year later. The first one was easy -- the second one HELL. The whole 21 days I was hungry and WEAK. I could barely climb stairs. Well I am doing a 40 day fast starting tomorrow. I want to drop 20 pounds (I am about 127 now -- big for my figure) but much more importantly I want to detox. I chose 40 because that is what Christ did. I feel this is "right."

My questions: I did a salt water flush this morning but I don't think my digestive system is clear. Every time I fast, I have a BM around day 6 but it isn't much. Just a watery thing. In 40 days will my track clear and will I have a real BM?

I pray this one is not as rough hunger/weak wise.
