I meant seeing an M.D. and getting your levels tested if you are messing with hormone levels. For a long time I thought I had low cortisol and was kind of in denial even when my cortisol numbers kept coming back normal. I finally had to accept that cortisol was not the cure for me. A poster on here mentioned taking natural thyroid hormone without seemingly having a low thyroid show up on a blood test. This alarmed me because my sister has hyperthyroid and was in the ICU for several days with a racing heartbeat due to it. This poster even mentioned getting palpitations, which is a sign you're getting too much thyroid hormone in your system.
