Here's the first thing I got when looking up G.A.S.:
"General adaptation syndrome, or GAS, is a term used to describe the body's short-term and long-term reactions to stress.
Stressors in humans include such physical stressors as starvation, being hit by a car, or suffering through severe weather. Additionally, humans can suffer such emotional or mental stressors as the loss of a loved one, the inability to solve a problem, or even having a difficult day at work."

So I don't understand why everyone's giving me so much flak when calorie-restriction not only can, but looks to be a main factor in a lot of people's fatigue. Maybe not in your case (that's why I was asking in your thread to find out), but definitely in more people's cases than people apparently are willing to admit.
The condition called "Adrenal Fatigue" is a made-up condition by alternative medicine. Conventional medicine doesn't accept that condition. It doesn't mean those symptoms don't exist or that people are not experiencing those symptoms, it's just means people's problems are not being caused by their adrenal glands "fatiguing" or we would all be developing Addison's Disease, not having our cortisol levels actually getting higher which indicates our adrenals are working just fine (and high cortisol is also an indication of under-eating), or they wouldn't be able to produce high or appropriate levels of any hormones the adrenal glands produce.
One cause of all the symptoms associated with "AF" is starvation/calorie-restriction:

It doesn't necessarily mean under-eating is the only cause of those list of symptoms. It's just one cause I'm bringing attention to because I think it's being greatly over-looked.
