Hang in there. I really didn't find much improvement for the first 5 months....I remember thinking but others are so much better now what is wrong with me. I remember that somethings started to lift around 8 months in that the horror PMS (which I had NEVER had before mirena left).....I have no idea why but for some reason it went although I would still have a down day or so a week before my period was due (which still occurs to varying degrees and for no reason I can think of as I dont even think there is a hormonal dip there. The same happens about 3 weeks before my period is due....again no idea why! You sound really heathy so that has to help your body adjust. Have faith that with time things will improve.
