I don't recall the name brand. I tested it before the first batch, and it came in at 1 ppm, which is what the instructions said was acceptable.

I tested again before the 2nd batch and couldn't get a reading at all. I know the meter was working because I tested my filtered water and got a reading. Utopia customer service said that the reason I likely didn't get a reading was simply because the distilled water was just less that 1 ppm at that time.
