Those are all symptoms of malnutrition, including gaining weight (believe it or not) because malnutrition can cause hypothyroid which can cause unexplained weight gain or weight loss.

Double check if you're under-eating, or eating too much empty calorie high-fat junk food. Desserts are just as much high-fat as they are high-sugar.
