Have had something that looks the same as this properly tested. The results were that this matter is actually white blood cells contained in mucous, with a discolouration due to faecal matter. The body's immune system attempting to deal with a parasitic infestation of a liver fluke (or liver fluke-like parasite). Am now waiting for confirmation that a course of Triclabendazole effectively deals with the issue.
