Don't mean to come off all gloom and doom or discourage good people standing up if that's what they are inclined to do. If good people see merit in the theory of traditional political methodology, like ringing congressional phones off the hook, do it. Congress didn't blink or hesitate when it came to legislating authority and control over individual, personal, physical freedom issues a la Patriot, Acts 1 & 2, suspension of Habeas Corpus, Real ID, FEMA, Spook agencies spying on regular people, etc. Similar acts of government have been enacted around the globe, Europe, U.K., Asia, Australia, you name it, so this is not just a domestic issue. On what basis do we have rational expectation they'll put forth genuine labors of constitutional government in action when it comes to electronic freedom? Just seems that the time for humanity standing up to be proactive againsts tyranny is long past. At least in congressional legislative print, tyranny is pretty much here, has been taking form for a long time, it may not yet be in day-to-day full operation, but the framework is on/in the books. Meanwhile we've been gradually maneuvered into a position of beign reactive at best. Who knows? Perhaps the slumbering masses will rouse while they still possess some of the basic and essential freedom necessary to do so, and who can predict the potential power of masses of good people standing up in unison? In the mean time it may also be a wise use of energy to prepare for some hunkering down, just in case.
