What exactly? Raw vs pasteurised milk?
Well, it's obvious that raw is the only way to go.
But it's still better fermented (i.e., lactose issues) into SCD yogurt or kefir, or, as you've said, dry cottage cheese.
Nevertheless, raw is a rare commodity these days (depending on the country of course).
