No, my biopsy didn't even show Candida. The swabs my derm did showed Candida (they were done at different times, and not at the same day/time my biopsy was done). And if I remember correctly, no swab ever showed a bacterial infection.

And I still believe there is nothing really to clear up. The test, in my mind, can show all kinds of things, Candida might be one. Just as having a headache doesn't mean that one has to have a brain tumor... ;-) Just my opinion. It might be a good idea to test for Candida, the "correct" way, and the spit test may be an indicator, but to me, considerung what I have read about it, it's far from being reliable.
