I suffered from UC for 27 years until I finally had to have surgery. Of all the things I tried Jordan Ruban and his books were by far the best resource. If I was in your shoes I would buy and read his book the Makers Diet !!!

I would also read all his books and follow his recommendations.

Before anyone says I'm spamming please understand I tried EVERYTHING under the sun for my UC and finally had to have the surgery. :(
