Estrogen: 1.9 (1.3-3.3)
Progesterone: 78 (75-270)
Ratio: 41. (100-500)
Testosterone: 36 (16-55)

DHEAS 3.5 !!!! (2-23) - age dependent, so mine is at the level that's normal for an 80 year old person! I'm not even exaggerating unfortunately. I just turned 32. Why is it SO low?!!!
I looked at what others posted on CZ - it's always high or normal even when cortisol is extremely low.
Could this be why I've been gaining weight lately?
I'm freaking out a little bit after reading about it all day - it appears that DHEA is a physiological age marker. Is this true?
Any advice would be so much appreciated.

Cortisol:

AM: 8. (3.7-9.5)
Noon: 1.6. (1.2-3.0)
Evening: 1.4. (0.6-1.9)
PM: 0.4. (0.4-1.0)

Not that bad right? But I'm tapering off Xanax which means that I'm in a mild to moderate state of benzo withdrawal which elevates cortisol.
For this reason this is not really a true indicator of good/bad adrenal function for me. All it shows that under stress my adrenals can make cortisol but until I'm done with this benzo WD process it's really hard to say.

DHEA however is not so sensitive to the benzo effect as far a I know and it is probably more reliable indicator of adrenal function in my case because it is produced exclusively in the adrenals unlike other hormones.

I have no idea what I should do.
Supplement with DHEA? Can it possibly clash with my benzo withdrawal process? I heard it can cause anxiety sometimes because it's a GABA (a) receptor antagonist.
But on the other hand I have absolutely NO ENERGY and my catecholamines are low which creates it's own set of problems.

Supplement with progesterone?.. Did anybody try it?... How long did it take to get results?

Does anyone know what is the relationship between DHEA and norepinephrine/dopamine production? I have a gut feeling it is strongly related but I just don't know how exactly.
DHEA is also linked to the thyroid function. Does anyone know how?

Did you try supplementing with DHEA and what are your results?
Are there any side effects?

Please comment on this analysis because I'm so confused. I just started my "research" on DHEA yesterday.
Any advice or links would be great.

Thank you
