I was diagnosed with schizo-affective disorder 10 years ago, at age 43. I have been on many different medicines. This past winter I had such terrible side affects and Depression I started weaning myself off the medicine. I have been without the medicine for several months now. I feel better.

I would like to start a vegan diet for spiritual and community reasons. I agree, though, that I can not help anyone else if I'm not strong. It seems to help me to have a higher cause than just my own health, though.

What are your thoughts?
