I agree with all that!

Rebelling against God is definitely not the way to go!

I think Jonah was definitely saved though. He said, Salvation is of the Lord, and I believe he truly understood that in his heart after what he had been through. And I'm sure God was not done with him yet, even though we didn't get to hear the rest of the story. We can hear it someday. :)

I know! I see people on the internet having debates like this all the time on other websites, and I feel sorry for them. lol

But it has for sure been a great learning experience for me and so I don't regret it.

But I've got to stop now though especially since my daughter's last day of school is tomorrow.

"If I had chosen to go ahead and build my house out of God's will, I would have had the most horrible time juggling my time and energy to being and doing everything at once for everyone. Basically it couldn't be done... Yet, I would have learned a lesson from it. Putting first what should come first, and that is God and His will. You did the right thing and saved yourself from a lot of heartache for sure. It's amazing how much mercy God does have though even when his children do rebel.

Psalm 103:
He does not deal with us according to our sins,

nor repay us according to our iniquities.
