People who say all pharmaceuticals are evil are usually the ones who don't have very severe problems. They find a couple of articles on the internet that make sense to them and think they are experts on health, nutrition and even drug withdrawal which they never experienced themselves. You know who I'm taliking about:)

I took Wellbutrin at a very low dose and it not only makes me feel better but helped me to identify the problem that I have with much certainty. Like you said the advantage of pharmaceuticals is that their effect is predictable and well understood. I almost thought I had Addison's at some point that's how bad I felt. What good would it do if I decided to proceed with further treating the adrenals if the real problem is in the hypothalamus?...

It seems like my adrenals got better and all that was missing was a signal to produce the much needed hormones. My BP is easy 100/60 (it used to be 60/40 years ago but I did a lot of healing since then) and sometimes higher, my salt wasting stopped and I can even do some walking or bike riding. Much like a normal person would do on a leisure day. How can that be if I indeed had Addison-like AF? ..

The problem with working on neurotransmitters is that we might overstimulate the adrenals and cause crashes but if we ignore them how do we now if they are even getting the proper signaling from the brain?

Does it make sense to you?...

I'm all confused. Dr.Lam's model made so much sense to me but he completely ignored this issue. All he keeps saying is that norepinephrine is sort of a "bad guy" when it comes to AF and you have to work on trying to lower it....
