Hi Guys,

I'm looking to buy a constant supply of springwater from a local supplier. I'm not the knowledgable on drinking water standards but I know springwater is a good choice though some are also tampered with. This company is the best I've found from my area and I'm wondering if you could take a look at their water analysis and give me some feedback on whether this is good water to be drinking - especially while overcoming some hypothyroid symptoms as I'm supplementing with Iodine. Thanks in advance. Here it is:

Water Analysis

Mangrove Mountain Springs natural springwater comes from a spring located high upon the beautiful Central Coast plateau. Our springwater is certified pure and contains no added chemicals or any other artificial additives. No chlorine is used in our production process. The water does contains trace elements from the earth such as fluoride and iron at natural levels. This water contains 23 trace elements essential for good health.
Fluoride

No fluoride is added to Mangrove Mountain Springs natural springwater.

Fluoride occurs naturally in seawater (1.4mg/L), soil (up to 300 parts per million) and air (from volcanic gases and industrial emissions). Naturally occurring fluoride in water depends on the type of soil and rock through which the water drains.

Naturally occuring fluoride concentrations are typically less than 0.1mg/L but the range lies between 0.05mg to 1.5mg/L. You can see from the Analysis Chart below that the naturally occuring fluoride level in Mangrove Mountain Springs natural springwater is at the very low end of this spectrum at 0.05mg/L. Fluoridated tapwater would typically contain between 0.7 to 1mg/L.

Production Process

No chemicals are used in the production of Mangrove Mountain Springs natural springwater.

The natural springwater is firstly filtered to remove dissolved solids. The resultant typical total dissolved solids (TDS) has been measured at 56ppm. This very low TDS is the reason why Mangrove Mountain Springs natural springwater has been described as having a 'clean' and 'sweet' taste. The water then flows past a UV source to commence sterilisation. Finally, ozone (O3) is introduced to the water. Ozone is simply an oxygen molecule (O2) that has an extra oxygen atom attached. The half life of ozone in water is approximatly 30 minutes and the ozone rapidly decays back to oxygen. The presence of ozone sterilises the water and produces no by-product other than oxygen.

This method of water production guarantees the very highest quality healthy water.
