Yes, apparently there are case reports of spontaneous healing, according to research notes from users ahr and chris_juno:

And the 1988 case did spontaneously heal without treatment only to return. (A case of exfoliative cheilitis.

I suspect spontaneous healing reflects the absence of an allergen or stressor rather than any miracle. And I think most folks around here aren't gonna wait around for anything spontaneous. That said, congratulations and go slowly to find out what it was that did the trick!
