The Miracle Gel from Global Light Network works very well for sunburn--very
soothing. Eating coconut oil is supposed to help protect against sunburn, so
you would do that as a preventative for any future sunburning. I'm eating about
2-3 Tbsp per day (since August) but since I rarely ever go out in the sun
any more (who has the time, and besides we were about 3 months without much
sun here from Feb. to May in N. CA!) it hasn't been an issue for me yet this
year. You can also rub the coconut oil on your skin (this is virgin coconut oil)
but I would think you might get your clothes pretty greasy if you did that.
