About 2 months ago, i came down with a really bad cold and had night sweats for a while because of the flu. Around the same time i started experiencing discomfort on my inner thighs and small portion of my scrotum. This was happening to my right side. It didn't really itch, it was mostly a feeling of burning and discomfort. So i visited my doctor and he gave me this mixed cream. I used it for a while and it didn't do much. I started having the same problem on the left side. Same type of redness extending to the side of my scrotum and my inner flaps where scrotum meets the leg.
This went on for 1 month with me trying all of these medications:
- Lamisil cm + HC 1% Powder
- Clotrimazone %1 + Betadrem %1
- Hydrocortisone cream %1
- Babypowder
- Zincofax
I almost used all of this for a week and none seemed to worked. Last week i was taking a shower when i noticed my testicles have turned a very bright red and the skin looks really different. I freaked out and when to my doctor and he prescribed me some oral antihistamine hydroxyzine pills. I took that too but that didn't work either. So basically my problem started with a redness on my right leg after i had night sweats and probably that area was exposed to sweat for couple of nights. Then the redness traveled to my other side (left side) and now its everywhere including my scrotum. I have a burning and discomfort thats causing me a great deal of stress and anxiety. I was so desperate that i just went to pharmacy near my house showed them some pictures of my red and the pharmacist told me to try Gold Bond. I used that and now I have this brown looking specs on my testicles.
What is happening to me?
Here is a picture of it when i started two months ago on my right side.
Then it started happening on my left side.
This is when it my scrotum turned red.
This is couple of days after the top picture. As you can see the redness from side of my legs spread to lower portion of my scrotum.
And this is some pictures i took today which freaked me out. I now have these brown patches on my testicles. I thought maybe this could be a reaction to the GOLD BOND powder i used overnight and the Menthol in it. Not sure. But i don't recall seeing this before using the GOLD BOND powder.
Please help with this situation doctor. I have used 4 different creams, different powders and its only getting worse. And now i have this brown patches on my skin. Is this because of the GOLD BOND? Is this cancer? STD?...
