| BOTTLE DESCRIPTION : | This was a quack medicine which based its curative value on a secret method of super-saturating water with iodine. The use of iodine in medicine was well known at that time. This product played on ignorance of the true uses of iodine and sold this useless solution as a wonder cure. The bottles have an embossed sun on the front. Some bottles have a ground glass stopper and some are pontil marked. Found in aqua glass and flint. | |||||
