Reaction varies depending on what triggers it.
My symptoms are generaly mild for now but persistent and it makes me worry.
I removed almost all the "suspect" foods out of my diet because I couldn't figure out what was causing the symptoms. I eat mostly eggs, almonds ( talking about allergy triggering foods:)) and canned fish.
No carbs at all because I also had severe hypoglycemia. No fruit, no grains which sucks.

Usually my nose gets stuffy, I'd get pressure in the head (as if my blood pressure is up only it is low), I can't think straight to the point when I get disoriented, feel like its hard to breathe and I have to make some serious effort to take a deep breath. Resulting brain fog is unbelievable -I think I'm retarded sometimes.
All chemical sprays and lotions burn my eyes, especially the tanning lotion. I stopped wearing contacts because of that. No make up either. My eyes would get blood shot if I wear even some mascara. Ant spray that we had to use sometimes almost gave me anaphylaxis.
Peaches, cherries and some other fruit are the worst - my mouth starts tingling, eyes would get itchy as hell and my lip blows up.
Now the embarrasing side: I'd get bloating, cramping and extremely stinky farts if I eat any raw or even sometimes cooked vegetables.
Since I eat eggs and almonds I feel much better but as soon as I introduce something else it triggers the same crappy response.

About my husband:

It's difficult for me to say how he got better because I wasn't around when he was sick. By the time we met he was already better. I never took it seriously when he was telling me about his ilness because he looked pretty healthy to me. According to him he gave up on conventional medicine, started praying a lot because he thought he wa dying, started going to church and meditating. He had to move to a very quiet suburban area and lived in peaceful solitude. They had a small gym, so he would go there at night and try to use the machines when nobody was there because he was so embarrased that he was so weak. He just put everything in God's hands and he started to recover little by little over a period of a year and a half or so. Went to see his doctor after a while, they couldn't believe he was still alive and even ate mcdonalds sometimes. The only thing that was ever wrong with him according to all the million tests that they ran was high cholesterol. ( I think adrenals need cholesterol, so staying away from it is a recovery mistake).
He still has severe allergic reactions to pretty much everything though. I've never seen anything like it but it looks like he's been dealing with this for so long that he got used to the fact. He still can't work or tolerate any stress and does only moderate exercise.
He is helping me a lot trying to figure this out. I used to eat anything as long as it was not rotten and I was actually making fun of him all this time because he was so damn picky about everything but now I see why. It's my karma I think:)
