Fair play dude...im sure plenty on here will have arguements against, but ive talked to MANY people recently who recovered from low cortisol AF/CFS after HC treatment for three - six months then weaning off. Sick of ND's also and there money making ideas and supplements and proposterous diets.

Try and get a real doctor who supports the theory even if just to humour your, to do this with you though buddy, someone that will monitor you and test you regularly, you are playing around with powerful hormones and you dont want to kill off your adrenals forever.
