Looking after children is one of those real world commitments that unfortunately can limit one's fasting time.

I think you've done well. It's obviously been tough for you. You will have benefited greatly from the fast, even if you haven't completely cured your condition.

I don't think you have a weak character as you say. You do seem to have had a lot of anxiety arising during this fast. I think it is strong to have achieved this fast despite the anxiety.
