I'm sorry, but it is not accurate to say that Albendazole has no negative effects. It is hard on the liver, which is why you shouldn't take it continuously. I wouldn't tell anyone not to take it as it can be very effective, but monitor your liver functions if at all possible. Another possible side effect is hair loss. In my case, I lost approximately 99% of my hair. Not attractive for a woman.
