I can kinda relate, except I have never really had a girlfriend (im a straight guy) . It sucks badly that I cannot relate to people my age, I cannot drink alcohol , must have strict diet,etc etc. Plus my illness has caused me to be somewhat shy, and not good at being social, my socials skill are horrible, getting in a relationship is my number one desire, and I probably need it more than anything , but I cannot see it happening in the foreseeable future.

I hope you can sort out your issue though there are plenty of fish in the sea :P
