Thank you, PM Lorical Lady, for your helpful tips on the management of parasites. I plan to add some of your ideas to my protocol. I also agree that gluten, Sugar and dairy products only worsened my fatigue and symptoms. Elimination has really helped my health. I also found this book to be very helpful in my journey to better health. "The Acid-Alkaline Balance Diet: An innovative program for ridding your body of acidic wastes" by Felicia Drury Kliment to be most enlightening. She suggests guidelines for better metabolic balance and reducing acidic deposits in body organs and systems most vulnerable to disease and breakdown. parasites love an acidic, putrified environment, so cleaning up the GI tract and associated organs is a must. I also found a simple but helpful food combining chart at http://www.AcidAlkalineDiet.com
which helps me remember what foods to combine for maximum energy and to reduce acidic waste development from undigested foods. I am currently trying The Life Tree parasite protocol at http://www.parasitecleanse.com
but, have found Parafactors by BIOCHEM with Wormwood also to be very effective. I think the Olive-Oil Liver Cleanse post parasite protocol is an essential element to parasite management. Sadly, my health care provider failed to inform me that an annual parasite protocol with liver cleanse is necessary to keep the population in check along with a clean diet and good hygiene practices, as you mentioned. Finding a good ND or DC physician who understands the importance of parasite management and can interpret your blood work and direct your course to achieve better health is my best suggestion in addition to your own efforts especially if you think you are dealing with a parasite infestation beyond your scope of practice and expertise. It will be well worth your time and may improve your quality of life. All the best to you, Losing Hope, don't give up yet. I will keep you in my prayers.
