I like your direction here but I don't believe nettles are strong enough as a flagship sort of herb.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine Nettles would be concidered a secondary herb.

They divide herbs into 3 categories. First tier herbs are strong on their own and should produce sweeping results. 2nd and 3rd tier herbs more or less support the primary herbs.

I like Rieshi Mushroom, for example. strong herb, primary herb that alone should be very effective. Known to some as the Mushroom of Immortality.
