Hi Everyone,
Thanks for your prayers and well wishes-we surely felt the power of prayer today. Michael clearly stated that he wanted a sign last night...and today we randomly received a call from a friend of his who knew a family who wanted to donate a few things to us...a few things being--a wheelchair accessible van, a medical bed with an air mattress, an FES bike and possibly an electric lift!!!
I was shocked and began to cry with joy and relief; I was laughing and crying at the same time. I am sooooo grateful for such a gift. The generous family is dealing with the death of their daughter who was a C-zero level SCI. C-zero is the highest level-it is the level of injury Christopher Reeve had many years ago.
Anyways, I send many many blessings to their daughter-whose wish it was to have her things given to someone who would use them.
So, we have a lightness in our hearts and minds tonight, even though Michael is now dealing with low blood pressu re. We are still figuring all this out. But what a relief to know that we have what we need and more.
What an amazing ride this is--thanks for sharing it with us.
