I portion them out to however much I would like in a smoothie, then pop in a freezer bag (and kind of flatten it out so the strawberries don't freeze into a big blob).
When I'm ready to make a smoothie, then I have a nice base, and no ice cubes needed! I really want some farmer's market strawberries now...
