From what I read in the PDR, the daily ingestion when a person is on PIMA (TM) syrup is on the order of 1.2 grams per day of potassium iodide.
So, if I were to contemplate ingesting 1.2 grams per day of potassium iodide, I might suppose that the same warnings in this link could apply to me. Does that sound reasonable ?

But have we not seen cases where Iodine supplementation has resolved many of the contraindications, such as for example some stomach disorders and some skin diseases ?
Also noteworthy perhaps is that it does not state that one ought insure adequate selenium levels when using PIMA(TM syrup.
