The WHO has been trying to tell Americans this for a long time:

It turns out that Iodine in early pregnancy and in fact throughout the whole pregnancy; determines the IQ of a child.

Our kids all have one thing in common, they get straight A in math. They are smarter and stronger than the average mal-nutritioned kid setting next to them in school. Some years ago I mentoned the reason why was IODINE, my kids had it and the others didn't and the teacher looked at me like "DA" what? It went right over her drugged / well educated head.
