I agree with the not peeling. Peeling and trauma alone started this for quite a few people. I don't think it will heal the problem. I really think for me Antibiotics and an allergy caused an infection and then inflammation but still if I peel I'm gonna keep it going. I'm not a long time person here but I have been moisturizing and leaving alone and that has at least tamed the rawness and pain for me. I have grooves in my lips back and swelling and redness has decreased significantly.
