Hi, Mar

Thank you for such a comprehensive reply.
I think I'm going to look into both of those methods and get more information about what might help. I thought I 'd figure it out myself by taking less and prolonging the time between the dosages but it's such a crude way that it started to just trigger adrenal crashes. Sometimes I'd have almost no symptoms of WD at all and cut down as much as 0.75 mg per week only to go back to where I started just a few days later.

Now I'm trying to get to a baseline where I feel ok, hopefully not more than 1.5 mg a day. I'm going to read both resources that you and wiredgeneration recommended and see what I can do. I avoid reading other people experiences with benzos because I can literally feel their pain...it's weird I know. But I have to get myself informed about different ways to ease the WD pains. For instance I never heard anything about titration...
I had a few other meds I recently detoxed from, so xanax is the last one to go but every time I think about it it sends chills down my spine. I remember the horrific insomnia and hallucinations ( when I couldn't sleep for up to 6 days) triggered by me trying to go CT ... Since then I gave up on the idea

Now it seems like there is no choice because AF will never be healed if tolerance WD like that persists. It has such a terrible yo yo effect on the entire HPA axis that it negates all my other attempts to get better.

I'm just so afraid to trigger that insomnia again...
