Difficult to say, but when the adrenals are low, allergies may occur. Even if you never had them before.
- Could be as simple as the stomach acid is not strong enough, what comes into the blood stream are partly not broken down proteins = allergic reactions.

One of the Iodine excess symptoms is runny nose /sneezing; so it could be that you need less, or that you just have to go through a phase / detox. The detox is different for all of us; for me it was a series of infections. Fevers, digestion upsets.
It hits us where needed.
