Candida plays a role in dictating which bacteria grow back into the intestinal tract after antibiotic exposure. It tends to inhibit the regrowth of the Lactobacillus species. Mushroom extracts typically should stimulate a Th1 cell response that is effective against virus, fungus, and parasites. One study showed that beta glucans didn't work against candida. See how it works for you.
