Ok we'll we can disagree on the fact that you think the inflammation will never completely go away. I believe it will. Even if it takes time.

I believe the inflammation is decreasing, supported by the huge decrease in hyperkeratosis, even when comparing my current condition with what my lips used to look like with the same barrier on. And I believe that the inflammation will eventually heal completely whether it be from our body, from the ointments or from our body with assistance from the ointments.

Which explains why you believe that the ointments are "managing" the inflammation and I believe the ointments are "healing" the inflammation.

But that doesn't change the fact that managing and healing imply two very different things.
