I read the things I'm given, but there's so much contradictory information, that I just want something easy to understand.

For example, http://www.healingdaily.com/detoxification-diet/niacin.htm
indicates that 1500mg a day (in doses of 750mg each) is safe. Other places say that as many as 5000mg a day is acceptable, and some places state that going over 500mg for more than a month is harmful. So it's hard to develop a protocol. I think I'll go with (flushing) niacin twice a day with activated charcoal half an hour to an hour afterward to try to mop up whatever it pushes out, and see how that works.

And I noticed that //www.curezone.org/faq/q.asp?a=13,281,2962&q=706
states that Inositol Hexanicotinate is an acceptable form of non-flushing niacin that supposedly has the health benefits of flushing niacin without the flush, and with no risk of liver damage (unlike regular niacin's 1% risk), but again, other places I've read have stated that only regular flushing niacin (nicotinic acid) is the type that has the health benefits, since they come from the flush itself, supposedly.

So for now, I think I'll still with the flushing niacin.
