I am not familiar with any link between the use of cannabis and Hypoglycemia, but assuming you are not diabetic then we have to understand the causes of your low-blood sugar.
Your comments here are quite significant........
#1. "However it seems when I medicate I get really shaky and body convulsions".
#2. "For awhile when I ate big meals I'd get really tired to the point of passing out".
#3. I only weigh 135 lbs. As I am struggling with weight gain.
All of the above only prove to me that you have a weakened nervous system brought on by lifestyle issues producing enervation, or a lowered state of nerve-force and life energy. All of this will check elimination, resulting in the retention of toxins commonly known as toxemia.
Parasites of any description always find a home in someone who is suffering from this condition.
In my view the solution to your health issues is to eliminate your toxemia via rest and other lifestyle choices that will rebuild your nerve-energies, and which in time will eliminate your toxemia and therefore your parasites and symptoms of Hypoglycemia.
It is a simple solution, but a very effective one: ample sleep; plenty of fresh air; a plant-based diet eaten only when genuinely hungry (this could mean just one meal per day); some judicious sunlight exposure when available. Please bear in mind that the body is a self-healing, self-maintaining and self-repairing organism, and given the ideal conditions for health, then health will return in time.
Speaking of low-blood-sugar: when someone fasts on water only according to thirst, the body will enter ketosis or fat-burning, in place of our regular glucose as fuel when eating; this accelerates the elimination and healing cycle by diverting digestive energy for that purpose. Blood sugar at this time will drop to what Doctors think is a pathological level, but in reality is the "norm" in human/animal physiology when using fatty acids as fuel from our fat reserves. When toxemia is low or non-existent, symptoms of Hypoglycemia just do not appear.
