Hi AznDollie,
I know I went through hell and back. Endo's have no clue about Addison's Disease. I would not tell any Dr what you think you have some are out to jsut give you meds.
Write a list of symptoms and make sure to mention the fatigue and the tanning that is occuring with out tanning and in the winter.
Dr's hate when you tell them what you have. If you are not getting any answers or suggestion of testing for the Addison's disease then I would mention Addison's disease.
Years ago I got the chicken pox after my children had them. I had them for head to toe. My face was scary and covered. I go into a new Dr's office(new area I lived) and I tell him I have chicken pox and he was like you told you...lol I was like what the F...lol I had chicken poxs.
A few things is very important is to know your normal BP so if you go low you know it is a low cortisol problem...this works for me. Plus your standing heart rate. If your heart rate is high while standing at times that can mean low sodium. This is what I have figured out over the 4 years of being diagnosed. So I would suggest to see if this is your case too. I know not all people have Addison's disease have sodium issues, but more so then not. I am thinking that you may be low do to the fact when you take the hydrocortisone that should not make you tired. Let me know your thoughts on low sodium. Low sodium symptoms are dizziness, weakness in legs, high heart rate while standing, thirsty others when really low.
Marie
