Thats a lot of solids to now add all that salt to..

Also the way I tested my mineral water is by adding Lugol's to to it and if the color doesn't change, it stays Lugol's colored without turning it yellow or clear, it was deemed non reactive.

Dunno, does you bottled water have Chloramine in it? The ONLY guarantee is Distilled water (using citric acid to insure chloramine is out) and your own carbonation.
